Association Resources (AR) is an Association Management Company located at Bishop’s Corner in West Hartford, Connecticut. In existence for over 33 years, we currently manage over 25 nonprofit clients including all their meetings and events (about 75 – board meetings, seminars, annual meetings, golf, etc.).
The Meeting Planner position is Full-time.
Core responsibilities include developing meeting specifications and goals, site inspection and selection, contract negotiations, coordinate event services, development of sponsor and exhibit prospectus’ and communications, conference website and database maintenance, familiarity with budget preparation, coordinating and overseeing meeting registration, development and execution of meeting marketing plan. Will be responsible for working collaboratively with other staff and volunteers to coordinate planning for meetings and professional development programs.
Out-of-state travel up to 20%. Includes onsite responsibilities for several meetings per year.
CMP preferred but not required to work with our company and our client nonprofit organizations.
